Brenda (Carter) Kitchen

Brenda (Carter) Kitchen, age 61, of Carrollton passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. She was born in Cedartown on Saturday, January 15, 1955. Ms. Kitchen was the daughter of the late Charles Carter and the late Wilma Coalson Carter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon (Carter) Jackson.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jade and Natalie Smith of Bremen; grandchildren, Dalton and Ava Smith of Bremen; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Randy and Teresa Carter of Tallapoosa and Ricky Carter of Douglasville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elaine and John Croft of Buchanan and Linda Baker of Villa Rica; nieces and nephews, Brett House, Robyn Trantham, Phillip Jackson, Timothy Jackson, Christy Carter, Chase Croft, Cathy Holderfield, Caleb Carter, and Brelin Carter; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; family friends, Larry and Vicki Smith of Waco as well as a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Kitchen’s wishes, she will be cremated.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2 P.M. from the First Baptist Church of Buchanan with Brother Brett House officiating. Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Buchanan.

The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Buchanan on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 12 Noon until the Memorial Service begins.

Flowers will be accepted, but for those who wish, contributions can be made to the Haralson County Animal Control (Shelter) located at 1799 Macedonia Church Rd. Buchanan, GA 30113.
