Gloria Alice (Bostwick) Fitts

Mrs. Gloria Alice (Bostwick) Fitts, age 86, of Carrollton passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. She was born on Saturday, March 14, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia.Mrs. Fitts was the daughter of the late W.A. Bostwick, Sr. and the late Alice (Wood) Bostwick. Besides her parents, Mrs. Fitts is also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Van Buren Fitts, Jr.; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, W.A, Jr. and Marty Bostwick, Allen and Elsie Bostwick, Milton Bostwick, and Joe and Tommie Bostwick.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Lee Keaton of Carrollton, Georgia; granddaughter, Amy Keaton of Carrollton, Georgia; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Larry and Eleanor Bostwick of Carrollton, Georgia, Lanny and Brenda Bostwick of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Hazel Bostwick Weaver of Panama City, Florida as well as a number of other relatives.

 Mrs. Fitts was employed as a legal secretary for Attorney Bill Otwell. Later, she assisted her husband, who owned the Bremen Links Golf Course in Bremen, Georgia. Mrs. Fitts was a member of Renew Church in Carrollton, Georgia 

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mrs. Fitts’ body will be cremated. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
