Ms. Ila Young (Peace) Bennett, age 86, of Temple passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. Ms. Bennett was born in Gardendale, Alabama on Sunday, October 12, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Tom Peace and the late Estelle Peace. Bedsides her parents, Ms. Bennett is also preceded in death by her brother Charles Peace.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy Marsh of Temple and Ricky and Michelle Marsh of Tallapoosa; two daughters and one son-in-law, Renee Workman of Metter, Georgia and Pamela and Joe Bowden of Temple as well as a number of other relatives.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Ms. Bennett will be cremated.
