Charles Eugene Smith

Mr. Charles Eugene Smith, age 58, of Woodland, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018.  He was born in Atlanta on Wednesday, May 13, 1959. Mr. Smith was the son of the late Robert Belford Smith and the late Mary Jo (Glover) Smith. Besides his parents, Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Wayne Patterson.

Survivors include his daughter and her husband, Tammy and Ben Rosier of Macclenny, Florida; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thomas Eugene Smith and Judy Gail-Smith of Douglasville and Jimmy Ray Smith and Donna Smith of Woodland, Alabama; his sister, Patricia Ann Smith of Woodland, Alabama; three grandchildren, Madison Rosier, Autumn Rosier, and Savannah Rosier all of Macclenny, Florida as well as a number of other relatives.

Mr. Smith enjoyed life, going fishing, refurbishing cars and being with his friends and family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Following a private viewing with the immediate family, Mr. Smith will be cremated.
