Dorothy (McGaughy) Maske

Mrs. Dorothy (McGaughy) Maske, age 87, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on Friday, June 5, 1931, Mrs. Maske was the daughter of the late Alton McGaughy and the late Mary Lillian (Miller) McGaughy. Besides her parents, Mrs. Maske is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon A. Maske; her brother, Johnny Mac McGaughy and by her sister, Mary Frances Sanland.  

Survivors include her two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Gale Maske of Temple and Ricky and Sandie Maske of Douglasville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Landingham of Dothan, Alabama and Tammy and Ronnie Gentry of Bowdon; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bill and Donnie McGaughy of South Carolina and Dudley and Betty McGaughy of Alabama; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Maske is also survived by her two pet companions, Cocoa and Domino.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11A.M. from the Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael White, Dakota Evans and Sandra Howard Officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama with the following pallbearers: Rich Maske, Jason Kuhn, Dakota Evans, Pee Wee Evans, Ronnie Gentry and Christian Evans.  (Graveside services will begin at approximately 3 P.M. Eastern Standard Time)

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6P.M. until 8P.M.
