Mr. John ‘Buck’ Waymon Johnson, Jr., age 58, of Temple passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. He was born in Royston, Georgia on Thursday, November 17, 1960. Mr. Johnson was the son of the late, John Waymon Johnson, Sr. and the late, Lula (Freeman) Bass. Besides his parents Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Bonds and by one sister, Tina Bonds. Mr. Johnson was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army. Later in life he made a career as a carpenter.
Survivors include his two sons and one daughter-in-law, Shannon Johnson of Loganville and Josh and Tiffany Johnson of Madison County; three brothers and their spouses, Johnny and Carrie Johnson of Temple, Mike Johnson and Teresa Cox of Bremen, Toby and Jenifer Bass of Madison County and a number of other relatives.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Johnson will be cremated.
