Peggy (Webb) Long

Mrs. Peggy Webb Long, age 68, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020. She was born on February 19, 1951 in Carrollton, GA to the late Grady Webb and the late Martha Lorene Heard Webb. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Long and one brother, James Webb.

Survivors include her son, Jason Long; one brother, G.W. Webb of Bremen; one sister, Rachel Shaw of Buchanan; her mother-in-law, Jerri Long of Villa Rica, GA and Ohio; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ernette Long Riggs and Charles Riggs of Ohio. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Peggy was a talented baker and baked countless birthday cakes over the years. She also loved all animals, scrapbooking, and the beautiful outdoors.

In keeping with Mrs. Long's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home.
