Terrell Gene Bruce

Mr. Terrell Gene Bruce, age 80, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born in Rome, Georgia on Wednesday. December 14, 1938. Mr. Bruce is the son of the late, Richard Elbert Bruce and the late, Mary Lou (Wingo) Bruce. Besides his parents, Mr. Bruce is preceded death by one son, Jeffrey Bruce; his brother, Gerrell Dean Bruce; and by his sister, Lounell Johnson.

Mr. Bruce served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from General Motors after 28 years of service, 13 years with Walker Dry Wall and some time with Bruce and Son Construction and Framing. Mr. Bruce was a proud member of the National Rifle Association, the Union Auto Workers and Friendship Baptist Church of Atlanta.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Wyatt) Bruce of Bremen; one son, Terrell Guy Bruce of Bremen; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeanne and Joseph Hill, Jr. of Douglasville, Mary and Darren Peck of Bremen, Amanda Bruce of Dallas; two adopted daughters and one adopted son-in-law, Pamela and Rob Markwell of Conyers and Sherry Peterson of Bremen; seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Bruce’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2P.M. from the funeral home chapel with Military Honors being rendered by the Haralson County Veterans Association.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 noon until 2P.M.
