Michael Wade Thomas

Mr. Michael Wade Thomas, age 60, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born in Austell on September 10, 1963. Mr. Thomas was the son of the late, C.L. Thomas and the late, Mary Eleanor (Jones) Thomas. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a Master Plumber, working in the industry for over 37 years. He learned his love of plumbing by working with his Father. Mike was also known as a great teacher, helping many to learn the trade and acquire their Master Plumber Licenses. Mr. Thomas also enjoyed remodeling houses, playing chess, traveling, going on cruises, and most especially, spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Thomas of Temple; his daughter, Brittany Thomas of Sneads, Florida; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jack Latham of Lithia Springs; his sister-in-law, Deborah Thomas of Alford, Florida, and his grandson, Hayden Thomas of Temple. Mr. Thomas is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2P.M. from Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, prior to the service, from 1P.M. until the funeral hour.

Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica.
