Betty Joyce Sullins

Mrs. Betty Joyce (Butler) Sullins, age 88, of Temple passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born on August 8, 1935. Mrs. Sullins was the daughter of the late, Pinkard Butler and the late, Agnes (Kelley) Gleason. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sullins is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sullins and by one grandson, Derek Senft. 

Mrs. Sullins was a member of Villa Rica Pentecostal Church. She served many years as a Nurse for Dr. Larry Boss in Douglasville. 

Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters and two sons-in-law, Beverly Herrell of Temple, Donna Senft of Temple, Susan and Dr. Ivan Gonzalez of Temple, and Jennifer and Keith Staton of Temple; her sister, Joanne Green of Rome; her grandchildren and their spouses, Tyson and Julie Herrell of Villa Rica, Jake and Michaela Herrell of Villa Rica, Jessi and Daniel Green of Villa Rica, Sky Senft of Temple, Kelly and Justin Osteen of St. Simon’s Island, Justin Taylor of Dallas, Matthew and Julie Staton of Temple, and Savannah and Matt Smith of Temple; by her step-grandchildren, Ivan Gonzalez, Jr. of Atlanta, Bert and Destiny Gonzalez of New Georgia, Blair and Robert Lee of Dallas, and Amelia and Harry Schnabel of Marietta. Mrs. Sullins is also survived by her special friend Wilton Lee, her many great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. 

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 4 P.M., at the Family Cemetery in Temple with Pastor Eddie Allen officiating.
