Beverly Igorna (Olson) Chole

March 27, 1934 — July 6, 2020

Beverly I Olson Chloe, age 86, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020. She was born , March 27 1934, to Allan A. and Lottie L. Schnose Olson in Hawarden, Iowa. Besides her parents. She was preceded in death by her son, Bert Chole; one brother, Fay Olsen and by one sister, Lorna Baker.

She married Hilbert (Bert) H. Chole on February 4, 1961 at Ft. Riley, Kansas. As Bert was a Military man they moved a lot. In Ft. Benning, GA, the OCS class, she led the Ladies Association. In Washington D.C., she went to work for the United National Bank in Alexander, VA, until the move to Ft. Bragg, N.C. where she led the Ladies Association also. Ft. Hood, Texas, they were setting up a new Calvary Unit the 4 th of the 9 th unit. She organized the ladies functions, she loved working with the ladies. Her husband retired in 1979. They moved to Littleton, Colorado. After the divorce in October 1982, she went to work for JCPenny Inc. in the jewelry department at Northglenn, Co. After five years there, she transferred to Minnetonka, Mn. because her mother was sick. She was there for four years. In 1991 she visited her brother Fay Olson and family in St. George, Utah. She liked the weather so much that she transferred to the Red Cliffs Mall in St. George. After 14 years (1982-1996) she retired. She was the top sales associate in all 3 places. She thanked JCPenny for the 14 years with them and being there when she needed help. After retiring she got back into golf, which she liked a lot. She joined the Red Hills Ladies Golf Association. She also golfed Sunbrook, Southgate, St. George and in the summer played in Mesquite, NV. She loved all the ladies. She also got back into playing Bridge, which she loved. She and Fay joined the LDS Church in 1993. She loved this Church, the leaders and all the people in the 8 th ward. She loved everyone and was active in the Church.

Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Lucy and Loyd Slaughter of Golden, Colorado, Julie and Doug Presley of Roswell, Georgia and April and Keith Whitmire of Temple, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Darreld and Anita Olson of Hopkins, Minnesota; one sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Rodney Baumstead of Paynesville, Minnesota; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Beverly’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a memorial gathering at a later date and would also like to thank those who cared for Beverly and supported the family through this journey.
