Billy Joe Henry

Mr. Billy Joe Henry, age 78, of Temple passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was born on Wednesday, January 24, 1940 in Marshal County, Alabama. Mr. Henry was the son of the late Lester Henry and the late Katherine (Brooks) Ledbetter. Besides his parents, Mr. Henry is preceded in death by his sister, Garner Faye Henry.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Varnell) Henry of Temple; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Billy and Shelia Wilbanks of Villa Rica, Roger Henry of Douglasville, and Randy and Becky Henry of Temple; three daughters and one son-in-law, Tracy and Robby Lashley of the Sandhill Community, Regina Brooks of Boaz, Alabama and Shelia Hawkins of Grant, Alabama; two brothers, James Henry of Hokes Bluff, Alabama and Larry Henry of Grant, Alabama; two sisters, Glenda Henry of Grant, Alabama and Peggy Henry of New Hope, Alabama as well as a number of other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

In accordance with Mr. Henry’s wishes, he will be cremated following the visitation.
