Catherine Ann Matthews Dickey

Ms. Catherine Ann Matthews Dickey, age 71, of Carrollton passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born in Atlanta on August 22, 1953. Ms. Dickey was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine (Matthews) Dickey and by her brothers, Edward Neal Dickey and Johnnie Brown.

Ms. Dickey served in the United States Air Force. Following her time in the military, Catherine made a career as a Paralegal, retiring after many years of service. She was an animal lover and always had a special place in her heart for her pet dog Emmi. Ms. Dickey also enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, and going to the movies.

Left to cherish her memory are her close friends, Becky Morrissey of Rockmart, Beverley Swafford of Villa Rica, and a number of other friends and distant relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 11A.M. at West Georgia Memorial Park with Father James Akpan officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
