Mr. Cecil “Sonny” Franklin Meeks, Jr., age 60, of Carrollton passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Mr. Meeks was born in Selma, Alabama on Monday, January 14, 1957. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Franklin Meeks, Sr.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Meagan Meeks of Douglasville; his daughter and son-in-law, Jenifer Meeks and Lamont Greathouse of Roanoke, Alabama; his mother, Dorothy (Traywick) Meeks of Carrollton; his brother and sister-in-law, Daryl and Mindy Meeks of Connecticut; his sister, Brenda Atkinson of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, Dakota Gomez, Devin Meeks, Ethan Dorell, and Connor Meeks all of Douglasville and Lameylah Greathouse, Ajamenolly Greathouse, and Syan Greathouse all of Roanoke, Alabama.
In accordance with Mr. Meeks’ wishes, he will be cremated.
