Charlotte Elaine (Hanson) Dailey

Mrs. Charlotte Elaine (Hanson) Dailey, age 77, of Temple passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born in Lithia Springs on December 11, 1945. Mrs. Dailey was the daughter of the late, Robert Hanson and the late, Ruby Lee (Brawner) Hanson-Jones. In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Dailey.

Mrs. Dailey was a Graduate of South Cobb High School. She would later go on to work for and retire from the City of Atlanta Police Department as a Supervisor. Charlotte loved the Lord and was a member of Lithia Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed decorating, going to the beach, and collecting lighthouse and Coca Cola memorabilia. Above all, Mrs. Dailey cherished spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Matthew and Amy Dailey of Austell and Marc Dailey of Temple; her sister and brother-in-law, Maryanne and Len Wallace of Powder Springs; her grandchildren, Kayla Handy and her husband, Lamar Handy, Nicole Dailey, Destiny Dailey, Amber Dailey, and Mackenzie Dailey; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Junior, Aiden, Silas, Lance, Anakin, and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s arrangements, Mrs. Dailey will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a private memorial service at a later date.
