Christine "Kris" Branch Thompson

Mrs. Christine “Kris” (Steele) Branch Thompson, age 78, of Carrollton, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Born in Carrollton on April 25, 1947, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Steele and Lela (Sticher) Steele. In addition to her parents, Kris was preceded in death by her first husband, Arlin Thompson, Jr., and her second husband, David Branch.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Judy Faye Vaughan and Roger Williams of Roopville, as well as her cherished grandchildren: James Raymond Vaughan, Joseph Matthew Vaughan, Sarah Evelyn Vaughan, and Hope Celyn Vaughan. Kris also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Tessa Marie Vaughan, Violet Isabella Vaughan, Kaitlynn Michelle Shuler, Layna Emily Clark, Cameron Elizabeth Love, Piper Danielle Love, and Bailey Nichole Love, along with a number of other relatives who will carry her memory in their hearts.

In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Branch Thompson will be cremated.
