Christopher Lee Wood

Mr. Christopher Lee Wood, age 41, of Bowdon passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on March 23, 1982. Mr. Wood was the son of the late, David Wood and the late, Letha Gail (Castleberry) McKenzie. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wood is preceded in death by one brother, Michael Wood.

Survivors include his wife, Brittany (Jones) Wood of Bowdon; his children, Jaxon Wood, Linkon Wood, Makenzie Martin, Skilynn Jones, and Harlee Wood all of Bowdon; his sister, Denise Turley of Enterprise, Alabama; his best friends, Lamar Shope of Carrollton, Nick Buttigieg of Newnan and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3P.M. at Bowdon First Methodist Church with Brother Josh Dunham officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday, Prior to the service from 2P.M. until the funeral hour.

In accordance with the family’s arrangements, Mr. Wood will be cremated following the funeral service.
