Cindy Lee (Matthews) Hester

Mrs. Cindy Lee Hester, age 52, of Tallapoosa passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was born in Villa Rica on Saturday, June 22, 1963. Mrs. Hester is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Spruell Matthews Sr. and her brother Thomas Spruell Matthews Jr.
Survivors include her husband, William Hester of Tallapoosa; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Patrisha Ledbetter of Concord, North Carolina; one brother and sister-in-law, Tracy and Susan Matthews of Monroe, Georgia; six grandchildren, Malcom Martin of Douglasville, Dalton Ledbetter of Concord, North Carolina, Anna Ledbetter, Emma Ledbetter, Thomas Ledbetter, and William Ledbetter all of La Junta, Colorado and a number of other relatives.
Mrs. Hester was a loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with her friends and family and was a former seamstress for Fire Master Turn Out Gear in Tallapoosa.
In accordance with the family’s wishes Mrs. Hester will be cremated.
