Cynthia "Cindi" Ann Lewis

Mrs. Cynthia Ann (Orr) Lewis, age 65, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. She was born in Pittsfield, Illinois, on February 10, 1961, to the late Melvin Leroy Orr and Elizabeth Jane (McKenna) Orr. In addition to her parents, Cindi was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Jones.

Cindi had a creative spirit and a love for all types of crafts. She also enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and especially loved the Christmas season. A Christian by faith, she attended Rock Fellowship Church in Waco when her health permitted. Cindi truly had a servant’s heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and took great pride in being a loving and devoted “Grammy” to her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of forty-eight years, Richard Ned Lewis of Carrollton; her son, Clay Lewis of Carrollton; her daughter and son-in-law, Ashlee and Cole Ayers of Carrollton; her two sisters, Kim Potkonjak and her husband, Steve, of Loveland, Colorado, and Teresa Yokem of Bremen; her cherished grandchildren, Margot Ayers and Harrison Ayers; and a number of other relatives.

In keeping with Mrs. Lewis’ wishes, she will be cremated.
