Danny Smith Jr.

Danny Roy Smith Jr. age 24 of Temple passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013. He was born on Tuesday, January 24, 1989 in Austell, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Fred Womack.

Danny is survived by his Fiancé Patience Spencer of Temple; Father and Step Mother, Danny Sr. and Angie Smith of Temple; Mother and Step Father Teresa and Corky Harmon of Temple; Three brothers Shane Harmon of Temple, David Smith of Temple, and Ashton Gore of Mount Zion; Three sisters Tricia Lambert of Temple, Rylee Smith of Temple, and Camryn Gore of Mount Zion; Grandparents Roscoe and Darlene Smith of Tallapoosa; Grandmother Debra Sims of Mount Zion; Grandmother Betty Harmon of Temple; Grandmother Ann Womack of Temple; Five Aunts, Anissa Fennell of Buchanan, Kimberly Murdock of Tallapoosa, Crystal Damiano of Bremen, Wanda Barnes of Tallapoosa, and Kim Davis of Blairsville; Four Uncles, Ray Womack of Clanton, Alabama, Scott Womack of Atlanta, Joey Womack of Temple, Chip Womack of Greenville, South Carolina, and a number of other relatives.

Danny was an outgoing young man who loved his friends and family. Among many interests Danny thoroughly enjoyed playing and watching football and was a true Auburn Tigers fan (War Eagle!). He was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 5P.M.-9P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted from Bethel Baptist Church in Bremen on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2 P.M.  Danny Smith Jr. will lie in state at the church from 1P.M. until the funeral hour. Reverend Van Brown and Reverend Rodney Wilburn will officiate the service with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Levi Sims, Dustin Junior, Colt Baker, Jake Smith, Michael Bagwell, and Adam Brock. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
