Dennis "Hooty" Louis Waddell

Mr. Dennis “Hooty” Louis Waddell, age 60, of Carrollton passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, July 27, 1962. Mr. Waddell was the son of the late, James Clyde Waddell and the late, Nell Marie (Joiner) Waddell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Waddell is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Waddell and Billy Waddell.

Mr. Waddell was a talented builder. He worked as a Framer for over 25 years. Mr. Waddell enjoyed watching NASCAR, Clemson Tigers football, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Corey Waddell of Panama City, Florida, Brett Waddell of Panama City, Florida, Heath Waddell of Panama City Florida, Brandon Cooke of Attalla, Alabama and Heather Chaffin of Lincolnton, Georgia; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kenny and Debbie Waddell of Reynolds, Georgia, Jim Waddell of Alabaster, Alabama, Johnny Waddell of Carrollton, Georgia, and Rick and Leisa Waddell of Newnan, Georgia; his sister, Yvonne Korson of Deatsville, Alabama; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Waddell’s wishes, he will be cremated.
