Diane Lorraine Moore

Mrs. Diane Lorraine (Fortier) Moore, aged 56, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Born in Dover, New Hampshire on July 19, 1969, Diane was the cherished daughter of the late Patrick G. Fortier and the late Doris (Cecile) Fortier. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Oree Moore III, and her sister, Lorraine Fortier.

Diane earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education and dedicated a portion of her career to teaching at Carroll Technical College, later transitioning into the field of computer programming. She was a treasured member of the West Metro Church of God in Douglasville, where she touched many lives with her generous spirit and unwavering support for those in need. Known for her kindness, Diane prioritized helping others and was always there for her family and friends. In her leisure time, she enjoyed scrapbooking, shopping, and cooking, and she particularly loved creating memories with her family. Diane was a wonderful wife and a devoted mother, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her three sons: Jackson Moore of Carrollton, Mason Moore of Carrollton, and Hunter Moore of Roopville, along with numerous friends and relatives who will carry her memory forward.

In accordance with Diane’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life to honor her memory at a later date.
