Mrs. Eva "Eve" (Hancock) Eskew, age 84, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026. She was born in Newnan on March 20, 1942, to the late William "Bill" Hancock and the late Ruby (Cochran) Hancock. In addition to her parents, Eve was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Hancock.

Eve was a graduate of Newnan High School. Throughout her working years, she held several positions, including employment at the Cannongate Country Club, and retiring from United Parcel Service (UPS). A devoted animal lover, Eve cherished her pets and considered them members of the family. She was a lifelong fan of George Strait and found great joy in his music. Above all else, Eve treasured her family and especially loved being "Maw Maw" to her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of life, and the special memories she created with those she loved.
