Harold Levi Mathis

Mr. Harold Levi Mathis, age 68, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. He was born in Carrollton on March 18, 1957. Mr. Mathis was the beloved son of the late Luther Mathis and the late Alice (Deering) Miller.

After completing high school, Harold dedicated many years to working as a truck driver for Dykes Paving in Norcross, Georgia, until his retirement. He later contributed his skills to the construction industry for several more years. Despite facing challenges throughout his life, Harold's deep love for his family remained steadfast, and they find solace in the knowledge that he is now at peace.

Harold is survived by his son, Fredrick “Rick” Mathis of DeRider, Louisiana; his daughter, Teresa Rickett of Sugar Hill, Georgia; four brothers and two sisters-in-law: Gary and Anji Miller of Florida, Allen Miller of Florida, Tony Pollard of North Carolina, and Johnny and Melissa Mathis of Temple, Georgia; along with his sisters, Nancy Crawford of Temple and Teresa Allen of Tennessee. He is also cherished by his grandchildren, Nikoli “Nik” Mathis, Modesty “Mo” Mathis, Abigail “Abbi” Mathis, and numerous other relatives.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Mathis will be cremated.
