Jerome Johnny Kilgore, Sr.

Mr. Jerome Johnny Kilgore, Sr., age 69, of Carrollton passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022. He was born in Rome, Georgia on Wednesday, June 3, 1953. Mr. Kilgore was the son of the late, John Freeman Kilgore and the late, Gwendolyn (Vaughn) Landano. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kilgore is preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Kilgore.

Mr. Kilgore made his career in the trade shows industry and as a welder. He enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing and hunting. Johnny was known as someone who would always help others in their time of need. Above all, Mr. Kilgore loved his family and especially cherished spending time with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Anita (Disharoon) Kilgore of Carrollton; his sons, Billy Kilgore of Carrollton, Jordan Louis of Carrollton and Jerome Johnny Kilgore, Jr. of Cartersville; his daughter, Wendy Westwood of Atlanta; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Diane and Terry Gaskins of Edgefield, South Carolina, Debra Howey of Macedonia, South Carolina, and Sandra Callahan of Kennesaw; his grandchildren, Mateo Westwood and Isabella Westwood. Mr. Kilgore is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Kilgore’s wishes, he will be cremated.
