Mr. Jerry Wayne Brown, age 50, of Temple passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was born in Dallas, Georgia on Friday, December 11, 1964. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his father Ernest Franklin Brown.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Barbara Joan and James Larry Thackston of Temple; daughter Misty Lynn Borders of Temple; two brothers, Franklin Scott Brown of Temple and James Michael Thackston of Dallas; one sister, Barbie Lynn Thackston of Temple; three grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Mr. Brown was a Forklift Driver for Americold Logistics. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and working as a mechanic in his spare time.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2pm from the Croft Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Fennell and Reverend Homer Wysner officiating.
