Johnnie Paul Waddle, beloved uncle, brother, and friend, passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 57. He was born on January 4, 1967, in Atlanta, GA, and most recently resided in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Johnnie was known for his adventurous spirit and love for motorcycles. Riding his bike on the open road brought him immense joy and freedom. He also had a passion for movies, particularly the Star Wars series, which never failed to captivate his imagination.
In his spare time, Johnnie enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, including homemade spaghetti, chili, and southern home cooking. He had a sweet tooth and was particularly fond of cakes and ice cream, with chocolate being his favorite flavor. His love for food was only matched by his love for music, especially old country and outlaw country tunes, as well as rock.
Johnnie was proud of his accomplishments as a master carpenter and roofer. He possessed a unique superpower of building something wonderful out of nothing, a skill that brought him much satisfaction. He was also proud of graduating Bible school and, most importantly, maintaining his sobriety.
Family was everything to Johnnie, and he cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He shared a special bond with his sister, Jerri Hubbard, affectionately known as Sissy. They often enjoyed their favorite pastime of having a "coke and a smoke" together. Johnnie was also deeply devoted to his wife Kelly, who remained an ever-present thought in his heart.
Johnnie's fun-loving nature and sense of humor made him the life of the party. He was known for his jokes and pranks, always ready to bring a smile to those around him. He had a caring and loyal nature, always there to lend a helping hand and look out for others.
In the community, Johnnie was a proud Christian biker (Divine Cruisers), actively involved in raising funds for those in need. He believed in living life to the fullest and was passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Johnnie's memory will forever be cherished by his sisters, Jerri Hubbard and Nicole Jones; his nieces, Destiny Wilson and Lexie Hubbard; and his nephews, Tommy Hubbard, Austin Gonzalez, and Joshua Wilson. He is also survived by his grandson Dylan Gilbert, who brought immense joy to his life.
Johnnie Paul Waddle will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy as an outlaw, biker, and hardworking carpenter will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace, forever dancing to the rhythm of his favorite music.
