Jonah Bryson Shaw

Mr. Jonah Bryson Shaw, age 40, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born in Douglasville, Georgia on May 29, 1985. Jonah is preceded in death by his father, Steve Shaw and by two sisters, Donna Tasker and Christy Allison.

Jonah lived life to the fullest and had a unique ability to brighten the day of those around him. As a skilled HVAC Technician with B&B Services, he dedicated many years to his work, earning respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, Jonah had a passion for traveling and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, which brought him immense joy. Above all, family was the cornerstone of Jonah's life; he cherished them deeply and will be profoundly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wendie Shaw of Cedartown; his sons, Ethan Shaw and Bryson Shaw of Cedartown; his daughter, Katelyn Shaw of Columbus; his mother and step-father, Jan and William Brown of Temple; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Josh Shaw of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jordan and Sara Shaw of Columbus, Tanner and Robin Brown of Waco, and Brandon Brown of Cartersville; his sisters, Ashley Brown of LaGrange and Lori Kinna and her husband Gary of Villa Rica; and his granddaughter, Marilyn Shaw. Jonah is also survived by his many friends and numerous other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s arrangements, Jonah was cremated.

Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6 P.M. at the Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home chapel with Brother Neal Shelnutt officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, prior to the memorial, from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M.
