Larry Burke

Mr. Larry Burke, age 77, of Temple passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014.  Mr. Burke was born in Provo, Utah on September 8, 1937.  He was the son of the late Truman Burke and the late Pearl Radmall Burke.  Mr. Burke was a retired truck driver.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Brown; and three brothers, Danny Burke, Terry burke and Allen Burke.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Burke of Temple; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Tammy Gober of Carrollton, Joy and Toby Smith of Carrollton, Cathy and Keith Bearden of Dallas and Erica and Russell cheek of Carrollton; two sons, Mark Gober of Carrollton and Wayne Burke of Tujunga, CA; one sister, Kaye Valesquez of New Mexico; three brothers, Ron Burke of Nevada, Mick Burke of Powder Springs and Gayle Burke of Utah; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 12:00 Noon from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Carrollton.  Interment will follow in Mozley Memorial Gardens, Lithia Springs.  The remains will lie in state at the Church Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
