Linda Dale Cherry

Mrs. Linda Dale (Pearson) Cherry, age 79, of Bremen passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was born in Dallas on July 7, 1947, to the late, Luther Calhoun “L.C.” Pearson and the late, Alva Grace (Owen) Hanson. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Master Gunnery Sgt. Maric Eric “M.E.” Cherry and by her daughter Brandy Pearson; and by one sister, Diane Kay Shepherd.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne Scott Long and his wife, Barbara of Cedartown; her brother, Michael David Pearson of Bremen; her sister, Deborah Susan Dills of Bremen. Mrs. Cherry is also survived by her four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

In keeping with Mrs. Cherry’s wishes, she will be cremated.
