Margaret Irene Richards

Mrs. Margaret Irene (Nix) Richards, age 78, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. She was born on January 20, 1948. Mrs. Richards was the daughter of the late, John Henry Nix, Sr. and the late, Tommie (Yarborough) Nix. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Larry B. Richards; her daughter, Rhonda Hope Harvey; and by two brothers, John Henry Nix, Jr. and George Nix.

She was a loving mother to her son and daughter-in-law, Steve Harvey, Jr. and Lisa Harvey of Spinghill, Florida; four brothers, David Nix of Brooksville, Florida, Jerry Nix of Floral City, Florida, Glen Nix of Brooksville, Florida, and James Nix of Florida. Margaret is also survived by her grandson, Anthony Harvey and his wife, Chase of West Palm Beach, Florida and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Nix’s arrangements, she will be cremated.
