Mary Kathryn Barnett

Mrs. Mary Kathryn (Adams) Barnett, age 87, of Temple, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born in Rosedale, Georgia on January 26, 1938, she was the cherished daughter of the late T.M. Adams and Emma (Evans) Adams King. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her beloved son, Timothy M. Cordle.

The complete obituary will be published once it has been approved by the family.

In accordance with Mrs. Barnett's wishes, she will be cremated. The family plans to host a memorial service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at a later date. Following the service, her urn will be interred at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in the Rosedale community, located in Floyd County.
