Mrs. Mary Magdalene (White) Stewart , age 85, of Waco passed away Monday, April 27th, 2015. She was born in Bethel, North Carolina on Saturday, November 30, 1929. She was the daughter of the late John White and the late Joanna (Cherry) White Edwards. Besides her parents Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband James C. Stewart and her daughter Lavida Stewart.
Surviors include her two daughters and one son-in-law, Cheryl and Booker Herring of Waco, and Jenita Lundsford of Aveondale, Pennsylvania; One granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Tequita and Jurall Adams-Stephens of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a number of other relatives.
Mrs. Mary Stewart retired after twenty eight years of working for the Department of Commerce in the United States Patent Office. She was a very outgoing Christian woman with a giving spirit. She enjoyed dancing and was a talented singer with a beautiful voice. Mrs. Stewart attended the LifeGate Church in Villa Rica.
