Rita Gay (Hall) Sibley

Mrs. Rita Gay (Hall) Sibley, age 68, of Temple passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born in Louisa, Kentucky on Tuesday, August 31, 1954. Mrs. Sibley was the daughter of the late, James Hall, Jr. and the late, Mary Jane (Varney) Hall. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sibley is preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Sibley; her brothers, Benny Hall, Robert Hall, Doug Hall, and Charles Hall; and by three sisters, Ann Frazier, Maudie Dotson, and Faye Preece.

Mrs. Sibley made her career as a Unit Secretary for Three Rivers Medical Center in Kentucky. She loved everyone and was known for her talented cooking. Mrs. Sibley was also a fantastic mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her sons, Steven Sibley, Sr. and William Hughes both of Temple; her daughter-in-law, Brandy Sibley of Temple; her sister, Alma Hall of Villa Rica; her grandchildren, Steven Sibley, Jr., Matt Sibley, Jack Hughes, Dynasty Jackson and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Sibley’s wishes, she will be cremated.
