Mr. Ronnie Bunyan McClung, age 72, of Carrollton passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. He was born in Carrollton on Monday, November 17, 1947. Mr. McClung was the son of the late, Reverend T.B. McClung and the late, Frances (Caldwell) McClung. Mr. McClung was a 1965 Temple High School Graduate. Later in life, he served in the United States National Guard.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Cher McClung of Carrollton; his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jack Graves of Carrollton; five grandchildren and their spouses, Blake Dockery of North Carolina, Rhett McClung of Carrollton, Parker McClung of Carrollton, Kalin and Luke Sims of Roopville and Kyle and Tylynn Graves of Carrollton; one great-grandchild, Weston Graves and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 12 Noon from The Church at Carrollton Cemetery (formerly Abilene) with Pastor Tim Landmon Officiating. Due to the current COVID 19 restrictions, only 10 people are allowed at the graveside for the service and must maintain the appropriate distancing. Outside of the 10 at the grave, guests may watch the service from their vehicles.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Lawrence Parrish, Ed Federer, Danny Federer, Jimmy Summerville, Danny Nixon and David Caldwell.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 4, 2020 from 10A.M. until 11:30A.M. However, in accordance with the COVID 19 Restrictions, we will only allow 10 people inside the facility at a time. Guests are encouraged to wear protective masks and to maintain appropriate distancing.
