Mrs. Rose Marie "Rosey" Stallings, born on December 22, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, in Temple, Georgia. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Mrs. Stallings dedicated over sixteen years of her life to the Food Service department with the Douglas County School System, where her commitment and warmth touched the lives of many. Her passion for nurturing others extended beyond her professional career, as she was an avid supporter of her family, always making them her utmost priority.

Rose found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including spending time with family and friends, indulging in spirited games of Monopoly, and enjoying the great outdoors. Her exceptional talent in decorations brought beauty to gatherings and celebrations, making each occasion memorable. An animal lover at heart, she held a special place for her beloved fur babies, China and Tigger, who filled her life with comfort and companionship.

Above all, Mrs. Stallings was deeply loved by her family, who will miss her profoundly. She is survived by her devoted husband, David Stallings, of Temple; three daughters, Amanda Lankford of Buchanan, Aleshia McDowell of Woodstock, and Katy and Chad Stephens of Villa Rica. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, along with a number of other relatives.

Mrs. Stallings was preceded in death by her parents, the late Claude Williams and the late Kathleen (Berryhill) Hawkins, as well as her brother, Darrell Wade.
