Rosielee (Johnson) Parrish

Ms. Rosielee Johnson Parrish, age 61, of Temple passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Ms. Parrish was born in Yorkville, Georgia on January 5, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Nathan Lamar Johnson and the late Pearlie Thelma Wright Johnson. Ms. Parrish was a long-time employee of Gwen’s Family Restaurant in Buchanan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Survivors include her companion of many years, Earl Tims, Jr. of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Marion Jenkins of Temple; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Kathy Vernon of Phenix City, AL; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ivymae and Gary Dobbs of Temple, Thelma and Lowell Bush of Buchanan and Betty Hogan of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Judy Johnson of Buchanan; four grandchildren, Daniel Jenkins, Dillon Jenkins, Halley Jenkins and Jada Jenkins; eight great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. from Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Travis Pritchard and Rev. Wendell Rush officiating. Interment will follow in Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dillon Jenkins, Ryan Runyon, John Jones, David Johnson, Josh Jenkins, Kenny Johnson, Tim Johnson and Todd Johnson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
