Sonia Marie Chung

Ms. Sonia Marie (Graham) Chung, age 61, of Winston passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica on September 24, 1963. Sonia is preceded in death by one brother, Trevor Graham.

In Jamaica, Sonia devoted many years of her career as an accountant. Known for her exceptional work ethic and organizational skills, Sonia built a reputation as a hard worker who consistently prioritized the needs of others, embodying a spirit of care and compassion that touched everyone around her. Outside of her professional commitments, Sonia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and challenging herself with sudoku puzzles. An avid sports fan, she particularly loved following tennis. The most important area of Sonia's life was the love she held for her family, whom she cherished with all her heart.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dwayne Daley of Springfield Gardens, New York and Edward Lewis of Winston; her parents, Gilbert Graham and Monica (Stewart) Graham of Kingston 20, Jamaica; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Precious Graham of Kingston 20, Jamaica, and Randolph and Joy Graham of Portmore, Jamaica; her grandchildren, Dontae Daley, Amelia Daley, and Tori Daley. Sonia is also survived by her close friend, Amy Parker of Temple and many other friends and relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Chung’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
