Suellen Tapley-Gary

Mrs. Suellen (Ploof) Tapley-Gary, age 78, of Temple, peacefully passed away on October 28, 2025. Born on March 20, 1947, in Villa Rica, she was the cherished daughter of the late Melber Ploof and Ernestine (Brown) Ploof. Suellen is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Gary.

Suellen was known for her servant heart and kind spirit, which guided her through a fulfilling career as a Host on cruise liners for many years, followed by her time at Hertz Car Rentals. Known for her love of animals, she held a special affection for cats, which brightened her life and those around her. Her warm presence will be profoundly missed by her friends and family.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip Ploof and Valerie Myrick of Tallapoosa, along with numerous friends and relatives who hold her memory close to their hearts.

In accordance with Mrs. Tapley-Gary’s wishes, she will be cremated.
