Timothy Calvin Hughes, Sr.

Mr. Timothy Calvin Hughes, Sr., age 60, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. He was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1962. Mr. Hughes was the son of the late, Calvin Vergil Hughes and the late, Doris Ruth (Warren) Hughes.

In his younger years, Tim served as Deputy Sheriff for Carroll County Sheriff’s Department. He enjoyed taking the time to go fishing and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Tim will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lynne (Culver) Hughes of Temple; his son, Timothy Calvin Hughes, Jr. of Temple; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Kelly Hughes of Temple, Howard Hughes of Summerville, Kenneth and Yvonne Hughes of Dalton and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Hughes will be cremated and in accordance with his wishes, no services will be conducted.
