Mrs. Vivian Kay (Little) Benn-Mobley, age 74, of Carrollton, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Born on December 5, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, Vivian was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer Junior Little and Flora Ellen “Skip” (Riddle) Little. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Mobley.
Vivian dedicated many years to a career in telemarketing before retiring. She had a deep passion for arts and crafts, particularly crocheting, and found joy in helping organize events and functions within her nursing home community. Vivian looked forward to spending time with her friends and playing cards with both "The Mourning Glories" and the "Circle of Friends". An avid reader, Vivian was known for her spirited and candid nature, unafraid to share her opinions while always expressing how much her loved ones meant to her. Fondly called Gigi by her great-grandchildren, she cherished her family dearly.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Steve Tidwell of Bremen; her son, Wade “J.J.” Benn of Ranburne; her grandchildren, Austyn Benn, Amber Jarriel, Emily Benn, Hannah Benn, and Rhiannon AndyRae Lamas; as well as her great-grandchildren Dreylen Jarriel, Kenna Benn, Kolton Benn, Jasper Benn-Harrell, and numerous other relatives.
In accordance with Vivian’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date to celebrate her life.
Messages of condolence may be shared with the family through the online guestbook.
Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple.
