Walter Anthony "Tony" Pollard

Mr. Walter Anthony “Tony” Pollard, age 66, of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Born on December 15, 1959, in Rutland, Vermont, Tony was the beloved son of the late Richard Pollard, Sr. and Sylvia (VanGuilder) Pollard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Pollard, Jr.

Following his graduation from high school, Tony honorably served in the United States Army. After his military service, he dedicated many years to various labor positions, notably working for Tyco Plastics in Bremen for over fifteen years. Tony was recognized for his strong work ethic and enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors near the river.

He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Richie and Victoria Pollard of South Carolina and Drake Morris of Georgia; his brother, Jason Pollard of New Jersey; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Phil Cash of Temple, and Deborah and Jeff Taylor of Georgia; by his stepmother, Sheila House of Bremen; sister-in-law, Jeanette Pollard of Ohio. Tony was also survived by his five grandchildren and a great-grandchild, along with numerous other relatives.

In accordance with Tony’s arrangements, he will be cremated. 

The family plans to hold a Memorial at a later date.
