Warren Vaughn

Mr. Warren Reed Vaughn , age 86 of Temple passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, September 23, 1927. He was the son of the late Ernest Roy Vaughn and the late Harriet Louise (Scott) Vaughn. Besides his parents Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by his two brothers; Roy and Robert Vaughn.
Survivors include his wife Ellen Patricia (Black) Vaughn of Temple; One son, Kenneth Vaughn of Savannah; One daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jimmy Zorda of College Park; Two step-daughters and step-son-in-laws, Rita and Bruce Prince of Temple and Cheryl and Greg Jones of Bremen; One sister, Shirley Vaughn of Carrollton; Two granddaughters Audra Vaughn of Powell, Ohio and Kaylan Zorda of College Park; Two step-grandchildren, Megan Laura and Dillon Laura of Temple and a number of other relatives.
Mr. Vaughn was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during portions of World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam. He is a retired Truck Driver and also worked for Delta Security.
In accordance with Mr. Vaughn’s final wishes, he will be cremated and no memorial services have been planned at this time. Please feel free to leave your online condolences at this time.
