Wendell Harvey Robinson

Mr. Wendell Harvey Robinson, age 62, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. He was born in Carrollton on August 5, 1963. Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Willene (Bates) Robinson and by his brother, Stanley Robinson.

Mr. Robinson worked for many years as a foreman for Hoover Hanes in Tallapoosa. He later went to work with his brother and nephew at Atlanta Gas Light in Draketown. Wendell loved the simple pleasures of life and lived at his own laid-back pace. He enjoyed going striper fishing at Lake Weiss and his Little Debbie Nutty Butty Bars and Diet Coke.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Calvin Reed Robinson of Carrollton; his nephew, Kevin (Homer) Robinson of Carrollton; his great-nieces, Breanna Green of South Bend, Indiana and Jordan Robinson of Temple; and by his great-niece and great-nephew, Sage Cassidy and Niko Cassidy.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mr. Robinson will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a graveside service in Corinth Baptist Church cemetery at a later date.
