Adell Theron Williams

Mr. Adell Theron Williams, age 85, of Carrollton passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was born in Fitzgerald on April 27, 1937. Mr. Williams was the son of the late, R.W. Williams and the late, Linnie Williams. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Kate (Farmer) Williams and by one daughter, Teresa (Williams) Driver.

Mr. Williams served in the United States Army. Later in life, he made his 42-year career as a Truck Driver.

Survivors include his daughter Sherine Roberson and her husband, Donald Howard of Carrollton; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ralph and Janice Williams of Whitesburg, Bobby and Janet Williams of Oxford, Alabama and Roger Williams of Centralhatchee; his grandchildren, Ronnie Driver and his wife, Chelsey Driver of Farmersville, Texas and Justin Roberson and his wife, Lauren Roberson of Florence, Alabama; his great-grandchildren, Hailey Driver, Morgan Adams, Ella Roberson, Jackson Roberson, Addi Roberson and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Williams wishes, he will be interred at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Tyus and no formal services will be conducted.
