Jacob "Jake" Allen Adams

November 6, 1977 ~ November 21, 2020 (age 43)


Mr. Jacob “Jake” Allen Adams, age 43, of Temple, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born in Midland, Texas on Sunday, November 6, 1977. Mr. Adams served as the Worship Leader at County Line Baptist Church in Lithia Springs, as well as with Tres Dias and Vida Nueva Ministries. He was a hardworker, a great singer and a gifted guitar player. Mr. Adams enjoyed leading worship, going deer hunting and especially spending time with his children. Some have referred to Mr. Adams as “the glue that held everyone together” and described him as “a friend to everyone”. He was also known for his great laugh and love for others. Mr. Adams was a wonderful husband and father who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Walker) Adams of Temple; his children, Josiah Adams, Stephen Adams and Sarah Adams, all of Temple; his father, William “Bill” Adams of Bremen; his mother, Patricia "Pat" (Boulware) Adams of Palm Bay, Florida; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Mark Adams of Statham and Matt and Ruth Adams of Atlanta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Danielle and Daniel Harmon of Raleigh, North Carolina and Shannon and Brent Connell of White, Georgia; Mr. Adams is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Adams was cremated.

Shady Grove Baptist Church (located at 1293 Sand Hill Shady Grove Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116) will be hosting a Celebration of life on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:30P.M. with Pastor Danny Horsley officiating. The family will receive guests, prior to the service, from 2P.M. until the service begins.
