Mr. James “Jim” Willis Ford, Sr., age 82, of Douglasville passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, February 7, 1937. Mr. Ford was the son of the late, Harley Willis Ford and the late, Elizabeth (Winters) Ford. Besides his parents, Mr. Ford is preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Marie (Ruth) Ford.
Mr. Ford served in the United States Air Force. Later in life he made a career as an HVAC Mechanic for Carter & Associates.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Anita Ford of Douglasville.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Ford will be cremated.
