Linda Joyce Mayes

Ms. Linda Joyce Mayes, age 67, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was born in Atlanta on Saturday, January 17, 1953. Ms. Mayes was the daughter of the late, Buster Mayes and the late Louise Mayes.

Ms. Mayes enjoyed knitting, collecting owls, reading, and spending time with her family. She also loved animals and frequently donated to various charities for animal care.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Conner of Temple; two sisters, Ginger Lariscy of Riverdale and Jo Yarbrough of Temple; two grandchildren, Kristopher Hotchkiss, Damien Mincey, and number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Mayes’ wishes, she will be cremated.
