Lore (Fischer) Renfroe

Ms. Lore (Fischer) Renfroe, age 80, of Villa Rica (Fairfield Plantation Community) passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was born in Gunzburg, Germany on December 16, 1937. Ms. Renfroe was the daughter of the late Georg Fischer and the late Mina (Maurer) Fischer. Besides her parents, Ms. Renfroe is preceded in death by her brother Eugen Fischer.

Survivors include her son, Terry Wooldridge of Villa Rica; two daughters and one son-in-law, Audrey and Mark Dobbins of Oxford, Georgia and Dori Grizzard of Redondo Beach, California; two grandchildren, Matthew Dobbins and Aspen Dobbins both of Oxford, Georgia and a number of other relatives.

Ms. Renfroe graduated with a B.A. in Business, earned a degree from LaSalle University in Interior Design and received additional education in Marketing. Later in life she made a career as an interior decorator working for Universal Furniture and Sherwin Williams. Ms. Renfroe was a member of various organizations, some of which include: the Kiwanis Club of Fairfield Plantation, Garden Club of Fairfield Plantation and the Travel Club of Fairfield Plantation. She also enjoyed volunteering as an Usher for the Carrollton Performing Arts Center.  

In accordance with Ms. Renfroe’s wishes, she will be cremated. 

The family will hold a Celebration of Life (Potluck Gathering) on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2P.M. from the Fairfield Plantation Recreation Center in Villa Rica.

Ms. Renfroe’s ashes will be laid to rest in the family plot in Gunzburg, Germany.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple.
