Patricia Marie (Fortner) Herb

Mrs. Patricia Marie (Fortner) Herb, age 74, of Carrollton passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. She was born in Carrollton on Wednesday, June 20, 1945. Mrs. Herb was the daughter of the late Buel Fortner and the late Marie Fortner. Besides her parents, Mrs. Herb is preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Herb; one daughter, Violet Herb and by one grandchild, Jacob Herb.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark Herb of Woodland, Alabama, David and Tisa Herb of Franklin and Tim and Nancy Herb of Birmingham, Alabama; one daughter, Tina Fortner of Macon; one brother, Steve Fortner of Carrollton; two sisters, Jane Bryant and Shelia Fortner both of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Jeremy Herb, Jarrick Herb, Kim Long, Christopher Herb, Heather Cribbs and Chase Herb; eight great-grandchildren, Ryanne Herb, Kinsley Herb, Corbin Cribbs, Fabian Herb, Lucas Long, Lakyn Cribbs, Weston Herb, Isaac Herb and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mrs. Herb will be cremated. The family plans hold a memorial service at a later date.
